La Kadron Ivery is a Parent, Author, Speaker, Coach and an Olympic Trials Qualifier Athlete whose message is rooted in faith, discipline, and the transformative power of words.

As a Baylor University graduate and proud Tyler, Texas native, La Kadron has always lived with vision and determination. From the track to the trials stage, she trained and competed at an elite level learning firsthand that success is built long before the spotlight ever shines. Discipline, focus, and consistency became more than athletic tools; they became life principles.

But some of her greatest growth did not happen on the track.

After witnessing and experiencing verbal abuse and emotional hardship,

La Kadron faced a different kind of test—one that required inner strength rather than physical endurance. Instead of allowing negative words to define her identity, she made a decision: she would replace every harmful voice with the truth of God’s Word.

That decision changed everything.

Through scripture, prayer, and relentless mental discipline, she rebuilt her confidence and realigned her identity with God’s promises. The same focus that carried her through Olympic- Trial level training now fueled her spiritual resilience.

From that journey came her book, The Power of the Tongue: Speaking Better Words Which Creates Better Chances—a reminder that what we speak shapes what we build.

La Kadron teaches that words are not just sounds; they are seeds. And when rooted in faith, they produce strength, clarity, and renewed purpose.

Today, La Kadron speaks to churches, women’s groups, student athletes, and communities seeking encouragement and practical transformation. Her message blends biblical truth with disciplined action—because faith is not passive, and growth is intentional.

Whether she’s sharing her testimony, encouraging others through scripture, or challenging audiences to examine the language they speak over their own lives,

La Kadron’s mission is simple:

Choose better words.
Build better chances.
Trust God’s promises.

“If God is for you, who can be against you?”
